Augusts Valdemars

Alksnitis (November 8, 1902 in Riga, L ivonia. February 22, 1960 in London) - Latvian army (captain), co mmander of 1 Battalion Grenadier Regiment 32 SS and 2 Battalion G renadier Regiment 33 SS 15 SS Grenadier Division of the the end o f World War II Between the Latvian army, he served in the 8th Infantry Regiment in Daugavpils, and then the motorized regiment as a captain. After the occupation of Latvian territory by German troops in 1941, cooperated with the occupiers.
